Chaotic Merge Issue 9!
Chaotic Merge Magazine Issue 9 is here! This issue features work from 23 different creators from around the world, and in forms ranging from visual art, fiction, poetry, nonfiction, and plays.
Besides the ever-honor of working with the incredible Fiction team (EIC Jasmine, Isha, and newly promoted Managing Fiction Editor, Lassiter), I also had the privilege of editing two flash pieces for this issue: “Flower Power” by Terri Mullholland and “We Don’t Need No Water” by David Serafino. Both of these stories follow an interesting pattern our team has seen in our submissions inbox, including previous work I’ve edited for Chaotic Merge, which is stories about homeless people. I’m not sure why we seem to attract this particular subject, but we’ve clearly received so many thoughtful, well-executed, and compassionate perspectives on this topic. We’re so grateful to get the chance to platform these talented voices!
