I’m so grateful to have gotten to work with Gaeli on her first book. We went to college together in Santa Fe but never really knew each other, so it was a such a fun surprise when she contacted me that my Blood Tree colleague Lee Reid recommended me as an editor for her queer Midwestern Gothic paranormal horror novel. I’m truly thankful for Gaeli’s patience with me, as this was also my first novel editing project, and I’m also so proud of her writerly growth over only one year. This was an incredibly fulfilling experience and I can’t wait for all the literature Gaeli is going to add to the world!
