Cross-Media Storytelling in the Digital Age

One of my Capstone Projects for my MA in Writing was a Micro Research Essay and accompanying Micro Lecture. Normally I only put my academic work on my Academia.edu profile, but the intersection of the digital and the literary is one of my favorite topics so I thought I’d share it here as well. You can watch the Micro Lecture here, which is essentially an overview of various digital modes of storytelling that exist around the internet, and you can read the more detailed essay here.

It was interesting and stimulating that hybrid and interdisciplinary hybrid were popular student-lecture topics this past residency at Spalding! And it was a joy to be able to pull in some of my SFUAD curriculum for this project, due to the amazing Julia Goldberg’s “Media & Storytelling” course. I love learning <3
